1. What is an anti-detect browser and what is it used for?

An anti-detection browser is specialized software based on the Chromium, Firefox, or other kernels. It resembles popular solutions in appearance, but is structured differently. It is capable of completely replacing the user’s digital fingerprint. This means that when visiting websites, they do not see the real user with their device, but a set of parameters, as if it were a virtual user from someone else’s computer. In such an environment, the User Agent, geolocation, fonts, WebGL, Canvas, and even the time and language can be substituted and changed as desired.

Each «account» within the browser is a separate profile: its own cookies, local storage, history, and extensions. There is no cross-exchange of data between them; actions performed in one profile do not affect the others in any way.

How it works: what substitution consists of

The 0DETECT anti-detection browser is based on Chromium and is almost identical to Chrome, but it replaces information about network and hardware parameters before visiting a website.

This is the browser core level: it intercepts requests for system information and returns falsified data, forming a consistent and plausible set of parameters.

The main elements of substitution include:

  • User Agent and Client Hints. The browser and OS version you put in should match the other settings, or the system will spot the mismatch.
  • Canvas and WebGL fingerprints. The rendering results are changed so they don’t match the user’s actual hardware.
  • Font list, screen resolution, plugin list, and MIME types. Popular configurations are emulated, without unique combinations.
  • Hardware parameters. The navigator.platform property, number of cores, RAM size, and touch input availability can all be masked as a specific device.
  • Geolocation and time zone. When you set a proxy for the corresponding region, the matching locale, language, and geocoordinates are automatically set.

This ensures consistency: each parameter corresponds to the others. For example, if Windows User Agent is set with the Chrome browser, the system automatically selects the properties of other elements so that everything together «speaks» about one device.

Key features and usability

Anti-detection browsers offer a wide range of features:

  1. Isolated profiles. Each with separate cookie and local content storage, ideal for logging into multiple accounts simultaneously.
  2. Proxy integration. You can assign your own proxy to each profile, change your IP address and country.
  3. Import and export fingerprint templates. Conveniently save profiles, copy settings, and share them with your team.
  4. API automation and integration. Compatible with Puppeteer, Selenium, and other automation frameworks.

Recently launched profiles can be stored locally, but all profiles in your account are protected in the cloud in encrypted form. This allows you to use the anti-detection browser on another computer at any time without losing profile data. This is also important in teams with distributed access.

Anti-detection browser profiles are ideal for teamwork. With each new connection, the participant receives all the data from the previous session—cookies, history, local storage, and other information.

You can run the same profile on computers in different countries, and websites will perceive you as a single user. This approach guarantees session integrity and reduces the likelihood of account blocks or additional checks on services. For example, in the Facebook advertising account.
